Kids Party Mania – Event Prop Hire
Thank you for considering Kids Party Mania for your upcoming event.
We know the fine print isn’t always the most exciting read, but it’s important to ensure we work together smoothly to make your event unforgettable. Please take a moment to review our terms and conditions, which apply to all bookings made with us.
By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined here.
Scope of Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to:
- Visits to our website, www.kidspartymania.com.au
- Bookings for products and services offered by Kids Party Mania
Definitions
- We/Us/Our refers to Kids Party Mania.
- You/Client refers to the individual or organization renting or hiring props, equipment, or services from us.
- Items/Props/Packages/Equipment refers to any products or services rented through Kids Party Mania.
Goods: Condition and Care
- If your event falls on a weekend or public holiday, additional charges may apply for transport and labor due to holiday rates.
- All hired items remain the property of Kids Party Mania.
- You must inspect all items upon delivery and notify us immediately if there are any concerns about their condition.
- Any damage caused while the items are in your possession will incur a charge for repair or replacement, should the security bond not cover the full cost.
- Most items will be charged at full replacement value.
Delivery & Collection
- Delivery and pick-up will occur during regular hours, from 7 am to 5 pm.
- Outside of regular hours, a surcharge may apply and should be discussed at the time of booking.
- A public holiday surcharge will apply for bookings on holidays.
- Deliveries are made to street level, and the ground/floor must be level and clear for easy access.
- If delivery requires access to higher levels, please notify us before payment, as this may incur an extra charge.
- You are responsible for cleaning hired goods after use.
- All equipment and props are personally delivered and collected by our team at the agreed time and location.
- Delivery charges will be quoted once we have the event date, time, and location.
- Additional fees apply for delivery if there are stairs or a lack of direct vehicle access to the venue.
- If the delivery area is not clear upon arrival, additional charges may apply or the security bond may be forfeited.
- It is the client’s responsibility to check with the venue for loading zone and terrain suitability. If this is not disclosed upfront, we reserve the right to charge extra or retain the bond.
- If props and equipment are moved or packed down without our approval, the bond will not be refunded. Placement of props must not be altered unless instructed by Kids Party Mania staff.
Services Provided
- Ensure the site remains safe and suitable for the installation and use of our props and equipment.
- The client acknowledges that delays in installation or services may occur if other contractors are involved.
- The client is responsible for ensuring the site is safe for equipment installation, and all necessary facilities are in place and functional.
Loss & Damages
- You are fully responsible for the condition of all hired items until they are returned to Kids Party Mania.
- Any damage beyond repair or lost items will be charged at the current retail value.
- No items are secured until payment is received in full.
Payments & Security Bond
- A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and date, which includes a security bond.
- If the deposit is not made within 5 days of receiving the invoice, we will release the booking and date for other clients to book.
- The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before the event date.
- The security bond covers accidental damage, but not theft, misuse, or damage from improper use.
- If the items are returned in good condition, the bond will be refunded within 10 business days of the event.
Collection & Cleaning
- All goods will be delivered cleanly, but the client is responsible for ensuring items are fit for use if food or drinks are involved.
- The client must ensure that items are packed in their original containers and are clean, dry, and complete for collection.
- Additional charges will apply if items are returned unclean or with stains, including cake stands, plinths, etc.
Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds
Cancellations:
- Once the 50% deposit is paid, the booking is confirmed, and no cancellations are allowed.
- The 50% deposit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for a credit note.
Changes:
- If you wish to change the booking (e.g., item swap, change of venue or date), please notify us as soon as possible.
- Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Allergy Awareness and Parental Responsibility
- It is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to inform the face painter prior to the event if a child has any known allergies to face paint, glitter, or temporary tattoos.
- We use high-quality, skin-safe, non-toxic face paint, glitter, and tattoo products. However, we cannot guarantee that there will be no allergic reactions or skin sensitivities.
- Parents/Guardians must communicate any allergies at the time of booking or upon arrival, and it is recommended to have a patch test done before the event if any concerns exist.
Limitation of Liability
- By booking our face painting services, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any allergic reactions or complications that may arise from the use of our face painting products, glitter, or temporary tattoos.
- If a child has a history of skin sensitivities or allergies, we strongly encourage consulting a medical professional before booking face painting services.
- If an allergic reaction occurs during or after the event, the responsibility for addressing the issue lies solely with the parent or guardian of the child. We do not accept liability for any allergic reactions, skin irritations, or other complications arising from our products.
Cancellations and Refund Policy
- Once the 50% deposit for face painting services is paid, the booking is considered confirmed, and no refunds are available for cancellations.
- In the event that you wish to cancel or change the booking, the 50% deposit will not be refunded or transferred to another date.
- No refund will be given for cancellations after the deposit is paid, regardless of the circumstances.
General Terms
- Our face painters use professional-grade materials and take all necessary precautions to ensure a safe, fun experience.
- We recommend that face painting services be provided in a well-lit, dry area, away from excessive heat or moisture to ensure the paint stays intact.
Agreement to Terms and Conditions
- By paying the 50% deposit for face painting or any event services with Kids Party Mania, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined here.
- The deposit confirms that you accept these terms and acknowledge the responsibilities regarding allergies, cancellations, and liability.
