At Kids Party Mania, the safety and well-being of every child at our events is our top priority. These Terms & Conditions outline the responsibilities of parents and guardians, limitations of liability, and our policies regarding bookings, cancellations, and face painting services.
1. Allergy Awareness & Parental Responsibility
It is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to inform our face painters prior to the event if a child has any known allergies or sensitivities to:
Face paint
Glitter
Temporary tattoos
Any other cosmetic or decorative products used during the event
We use only high-quality, professional-grade, non-toxic, skin-safe products, including paints, glitters, and tattoos sourced from TAG & Global. These products are FDA-approved and intended to minimise risks, but we cannot guarantee that no allergic reaction or skin sensitivity will occur.
Parents or guardians are required to:
Disclose any known allergies or skin sensitivities at the time of booking or upon arrival at the event.
Consider conducting a patch test on the child’s skin before the event if there are any concerns about reactions.
Ensure the child is comfortable and monitored during face painting or application of decorative products.
Our face painters are highly skilled and trained, but cannot be held responsible for reactions that occur due to pre-existing sensitivities or undisclosed allergies.
2. Limitation of Liability
By booking our face painting services, you acknowledge and agree that Kids Party Mania is not responsible for any allergic reactions, skin irritations, or other complications arising from the use of our products.
Parents and guardians should:
Consult a medical professional if their child has a history of skin sensitivities, allergies, or dermatological conditions.
Understand that any reactions during or after the event are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
This includes, but is not limited to, reactions to:
Face paints
Glitters
Temporary tattoos
Adhesives or other decorative products
Kids Party Mania will always take reasonable precautions, maintain high hygiene standards, and use safe, professional-grade products, but cannot accept liability for unforeseen reactions.
3. Cancellations & Refund Policy
A 50% deposit is required to secure any face painting services.
Once the deposit is paid, your booking is considered confirmed.
Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.
If you need to change your booking date, the deposit can be transferred to a new date, subject to availability.
No refunds will be issued once the deposit is paid.
We strongly recommend parents and guardians plan ahead and review any potential risks before confirming a booking.
4. General Terms
All face painting services are provided using professional-grade materials, including FDA-approved, non-toxic paints, glitter, and tattoos.
Face painting should be performed in a well-lit, dry area, free from excessive heat, wind, or moisture, to ensure the artwork remains intact and safe.
Our team maintains strict hygiene standards, including sanitising brushes, sponges, and tools between uses.
All staff hold a current Working With Children Check and are trained to provide a safe, enjoyable, and professional service.
Kids Party Mania reserves the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe or if undisclosed allergies are present.
5. Agreement to Terms & Conditions
By paying the 50% deposit for face painting or any event services with Kids Party Mania, you acknowledge that you:
Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
Accept responsibility for allergy awareness, parental supervision, and safety.
Understand the limitation of liability and agree that Kids Party Mania is not responsible for allergic reactions or other complications.
Accept the cancellation, deposit, and date-change policies outlined above.

Thank you for considering Kids Party Mania for your upcoming event. We know the fine print isn’t always exciting, but it’s important to ensure we work together smoothly to make your event unforgettable. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined here.
Scope of Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to:
Bookings for products and services offered by Kids Party Mania
Definitions:
We / Us / Our: Refers to Kids Party Mania.
You / Client: Refers to the individual or organisation renting or hiring props, equipment, or services from us.
Items / Props / Packages / Equipment: Any products or services rented through Kids Party Mania.
Goods: Condition and Care
If your event falls on a weekend or public holiday, additional charges may apply for transport and labor.
All hired items remain the property of Kids Party Mania.
You must inspect all items upon delivery and notify us immediately of any concerns regarding their condition.
Any damage caused while items are in your possession will incur a charge for repair or replacement, should the security bond not cover the full cost.
Most items will be charged at full replacement value if lost or damaged.
Delivery & Collection
Deliveries and pick-ups occur during regular hours, 7 am to 5 pm.
Outside these hours, a surcharge may apply and should be discussed at booking.
Bookings on public holidays incur a surcharge.
Deliveries are made to street level, and the ground/floor must be level and clear for easy access.
If access requires higher levels, please notify us before payment, as extra charges may apply.
You are responsible for cleaning hired goods after use.
All equipment and props are personally delivered and collected by our team at the agreed time and location.
Delivery charges are quoted based on event date, time, and location.
Additional fees may apply for stairs, difficult access, or uneven terrain.
If the delivery area is not clear upon arrival, extra charges may apply, or the security bond may be forfeited.
Placement of props must not be altered unless instructed by Kids Party Mania staff.
Services Provided
Ensure the site remains safe and suitable for installation and use of our props and equipment.
Delays may occur if other contractors are involved.
The client is responsible for ensuring the site is safe for installation and that all necessary facilities are functional.
Loss & Damages
You are fully responsible for the condition of all hired items until they are returned to Kids Party Mania.
Any damage beyond repair or lost items will be charged at the current retail value.
No items are secured until payment is received in full.
Payments & Security Bond
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and date; this includes a security bond.
If the deposit is not made within 5 days of receiving the invoice, the booking and date may be released to other clients.
The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before the event date.
The security bond covers accidental damage, but not theft, misuse, or improper use.
If items are returned in good condition, the bond will be refunded within 10 business days of the event.
Collection & Cleaning
All goods are delivered clean, but the client is responsible for ensuring items are fit for use if food or drinks are involved.
Items must be returned in their original containers, clean, dry, and complete.
Additional charges apply for items returned unclean, damaged, or stained, including cake stands, plinths, and props.
Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
Cancellations:
Once the 50% deposit is paid, the booking is confirmed.
Deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for credit.
Changes:
If you wish to change the booking (item swap, venue, or date), please notify us as soon as possible.
Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Deposits can be transferred to a new date, subject to availability.
