What if I need to change the date of the event or Cancel the Booking?

We will certainly try to accommodate any date changes you require if the new date you have selected is available and sufficient notice is provided. However, if you cancel your booking due to change-of-mind or change of date, our cancellation policy will apply.

Please see our T & Cs for Prop & Party Hire. All changes and cancellations are to be in writing via email. No verbal cancellations will be accepted as this is to minimize any misunderstanding.

What is a Security Bond?

The Security bond is charged by us on all hires. The Bond covers costs associated with accidental damage to our Props, provided that the replacement cost and /or cost of repairs does not exceed 10% of the hiring fee for the item.

The Security Bond does not apply to or cover any other damage to or loss of Equipment including, without limitation:
(a) Damage resulting from overloading, exceeding rated capacity, misuse, abuse or improper servicing of Equipment
(b) Damage or loss due to disappearance of the Equipment
(c) Damage caused by the use or operation of Equipment in contravention of any of these Terms
(d) Damage to, or loss of, the Equipment from any unknown cause.

Will I get my Security Bond back?

The Security deposit will be returned when the hire period has ended, and we assess that our Props & Equipment are in the same condition as when we delivered it.

If our Items are undamaged:

A refund for the security bond will be processed within 10 business days after the event date.

If our items are Damaged or lost:

Amount will be deducted from bond to recover the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged / lost goods.Where the security bond does not sufficiently cover the Repair / Replacement cost of the damaged / lost goods, the customer must pay the surplus costs within 48 hours of notice.

Do you offer Custom Set Ups?

YES! If you are after a Certain theme or something Unique give us a call and we can create something special for your event.

What types of Custom Decal do you Offer?

We offer Wood, Foam & Sticker Decals in all colors

If I don't want certain Props from a Package canthe price be reduced?

Our packages come as advertised, removing certain props will not reduce the price as they come as a Set Package Deal. We can add Extras such as Balloon Garlands, more plinths or cake stands etc. at an extra cost.

How do I hire from Kids Party Mania?

If you would like to hire from our collection, simply add the items to your cart and submit your enquiry.

Once we receive your enquiry, we will aim to respond back within 24 hours and confirm availability, extras, final delivery and pick up costs. If you then wish to proceed, we generate a formal invoice to secure the items.

Q: Do I have to pay a deposit and how do I pay?

A:A deposit is required for All bookings. Our preferred method of payment is cash on delivery. We accept Bank transfers & Credit Card Payments however they need to be received at least 14 days in advance for funds to clear before the booking date. (Call office to arrange)

Q: How does the castle operate, and will I be able to put it down?

A: All units run on an electric blower

extension leads are supplied at no extra cost and whilst the castle is in use it needs to be plugged in and switched on to keep it inflated. To deflate the castle, simply unplug the blower and it will slowly deflate (make sure nobody is using the castle at the time!).

Q: Can the Jumping Castle be inflated indoors?

A:Yes, our Jumping Castles can be inflated indoors, we provide sandbags to weigh the Castle down. You will need to check the ceiling height of the venue before booking. We also provide safety mats for indoor use.

Q: Can you set up a bouncy castle outdoors on a concrete, tarmac or paved surface?

A:If you have no alternative surface then please tell us this during booking so that we can arrange for extra sandbagsand safety mats/tarpsto be in the vehicle when we deliver the castle.

Q: What type of surface do I need?

A:Bouncy castles, slides and other inflatable situated outdoors need to be on a reasonably flat grassy area (slight slopes are ok) so that they can be staked down. The area needs to be free of any sharp stones, objects, dog mess or excessive mud.If our delivery staff have to wait while you clear access, prepare the site, or if the access/site is unsuitable, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Our recommended surface is a grass lawn. Please mow your grass before delivery.

Q: How long does it take to set up and pack away the Jumping Castle and can it go up steps?

A: The bouncy castles takes 15 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack up.
However, this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which castle you hire.

Please note because of the size and weight of a Jumping Castle we cannot cope with a flight of steps, but one or two steps are achievable and if someone is available to help it is easier.

Q: How long is a FULL DAY Hire for?

A: As most parties are in the afternoon. We will deliver and set up your castle between 7 am and 10am. The Full Day hiretime is 8 hrs. We will then come and take the castle away after your party has finished usually from 5pm onwards on a geographical basis.

If you hire a Jumping castle for only a few hours, such as an indoor event or an after-school activity, the price will be the same because the same amount of work is involved for us.

Q: What do I need to do on the day?

A:We will need clear access (At least 1.5 m) to the place you would like the Bouncy Castle situated. The Bouncy Castle will be wheeled to the location on a trolley.

Please tell us beforehand if you have any narrow access ways, awkward routes or lots of steps to the location and we will advise you from there.
Please make sure the driveway is clear of any obstructions (Trampolines, Swings,Toys) PRIOR to us arriving, otherwise this will delay further deliveries to other customers.

Q: Can adults go on the bouncy castle?

A: Our standard Bouncy Castles are suitable for children up to the age of 12 and will NOT withstand the weight of an adult.

Q: Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

A:Yes, to the value of 5 million, however, it is important that the hirer appreciates what this means. PLI covers the hirer against loss, damage or injury caused by inappropriate or unsafe set-up, or faulty equipment. It DOES NOT protect against loss, damage or injury caused through either negligent use of the equipment, or altering any aspect of the set-up after delivery, or through normal use where accidents may occur. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that there is adult supervision of the unit, equipment and of the people using it, at all times.

Q: Do you charge for cancelling booking?

A: You may cancel your booking without charge, so long as you give us 48 hours’ Notice so that we can hire the castle out to someone else. If you give us no or very little notice, you will not be Refunded your Deposit unless it is in correlation with our Wet Weather Cancellation Policy.

Q: Can I cancel for bad weather?

A: If you decide that you want to cancel due to bad weather 24 hours before your Event, No Cancellation Fee Will Apply. The key factor in the final decision is safety as a wet inflatable is slippery and obviously the risk of accidents then increases.

Please Note:
If the weather is forecast rain in the morning and dry in the afternoon, then we will carry out your booking. If weather is forecast dry in the morning and rain in the afternoon,then we WILL NOT carry out your booking.

NOTE: If the customer is adamant they want the Jumping Castle even though the weather is forecasting rain then we will carry out the booking but there will be a £100.00 Wet Weather Deposit which will be refundable if the Jumping Castle and equipment is dry on collection!

(DO NOT USE THE EQUIPMENT IF WET!)

Q: What if it rains?

A: Most of our castles have built in shower covers. However, if the rain is heavy and persistent, for safety reasons we will advise you not to go ahead with the booking.
There will be no cost to yourselves in the event of cancellation due to adverse weather.
If it rains during use of the inflatable, firstly remove all people from the inflatable until rain ceases. Once the rain ceases, simply dry the inflatable with a towel and play can commence.

Q: How much electricity does it use in a day?

A: The electric blower is very cheap to run and costs usually around 20p to 40p per hour (less than your hair dryer!).

NOTE: All blowers and wiring are safety checked before delivery.
